Trump to unveil ‘dream jobs’ program at Orlando conference

President Donald Trump is set to unveil a “dream jobs” initiative at the American Conservative Political Action Conference, a conference of conservative leaders that typically draws the most conservative attendees.

The president has spoken often about the need for more people to join the workforce, and the speech to the ACP on Monday will offer an opportunity for those in the workforce to share their stories, according to a release from the White House.

The plan will also include a special “Dreamers” panel, according the release.

A Trump administration official confirmed the announcement to ABC News.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The American Conservatives Political Action Committee (ACPC) was founded in 2002 by the late Ronald Reagan.

ACPC’s mission is to promote conservative political values and promote a conservative platform for federal, state, local and international policy, according its website.

A recent study by the Pew Research Center found that Americans are divided about whether to legalize marijuana.
